Just went to wilkinsons to get my doggies some chews, young lad asked if I watched a programme last nite about cheap shops - said I didn't.
So I'm watching on the iplayer now!!!

Two rival compaines trying to out do each other!!!!!!! LOL LOL

99p shop V £1.00

I haven't been to any of these shops (only wilkinsons)!
Has anyone seen the programme or shop at 99p shop.

Cheers Jane - I had a look and had a giggle too! WE've got a poundland in Torquay - I don't go there often but occasionally need picnic/party stuff and they always have really useful bargains. I had no idea they were so competitive with each other! But it's got to be good news for us shoppers - keen prices and a really well managed & tidy shop - not like the scruffy cheapo fleamarkets that spring up whenever a regular store goes byebye.

Hope your pooch enjoyed the doggie chews!

Sylvia xx

We've got a Pound Shop near us. Our bargain at the moment is 3 packets of Maryland Cookies for £1.....naughty but very nice.

There is bargains to be had, but you can get carried away abit, somethings are cheaper in other shops.

My husband got me some paracetamols last week (taking 8 a day at present). They were selling them 3 packets for a pound. Can't understand that really because I thought they could only sell two packs at a time. Went in Home Bargains and they sell them for 19p a packet, so not really much of a bargain.

Smile hi Sylvia
My doggies loved their dog chews - tripe sticks, pigs ears for the big cavalier, puppy tubos for my little cav!
Keeps them happy!

Paula
Cor, cookies sound scrummy!
I don't drink, smoke, or do anything else (pop ra pills) so, a naughty treat is fine!!

I'd have to travel to a bargin shop, maybe I stick out from the norm with my floral cath kidston handbag & floral scarf!!!!!
